2012 Presswomen Tuscan Tour
Get ready to travel to Italy this spring with NFPW through Adriana Trigiani Tours!
We are offering a trip to Tuscany for presswomen through the agency named after the best-selling author and honorary member of Virginia Press Women, who spoke to the 2007 NFPW conference. Leading the tour will be Gina Casella, president of Adriana Trigiani Tours, who started the business in 2010 with her longtime friend. The trip is limited to 15 people, so sign up early!
The trip is May 26 to June 1, 2012, and will include visits to Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Greve.
The trip costs $3,295 per person, based on double occupancy, with a $650 single supplement. The balance can be paid by check in two or three installments. Sorry, the agency doesn't accept credit cards — you must pay by check only. Airfare is not included, though Gina can help you arrange your flights. Travel insurance is recommended.
Important dates:
Oct. 31: A $300 non-refundable deposit to hold your place is due. That deposit, which should be paid by check, will be applied to the trip's cost. Send your payments to:

If you're paying in two installments:
- Dec. 1: First installment of $1,497.50 due
- Feb. 1: Second installment of $1,497.50 due
For those traveling alone, the $650 supplement is to be divided into two payments: $325 due on Dec. 1 and $325 due on Feb. 1.
If you're paying in three installments:
- Dec. 1: First installment of $999 due
- Jan. 2: Second installment of $998 due
- Feb. 1: Third installment of $998 due
For those traveling alone, the $650 single supplement is to be divided into three payments of $217, $217 and $216 due on Dec. 1, Jan. 2 and Feb. 1.
If you cancel 61 or more days prior to departure there is $75 charge. Between 60 and 31 days, you forfeit 30 percent of the tour cost; 30 days, 60 percent of tour cost; and six days before departure or no show, 100 percent of tour cost.
