As you make your way to Baltimore and through its city streets, your dedicated tour guide will share an informative and fun history of the area before you make your first stop at the Baltimore Museum of Industry. Explore the critical role Baltimore played in the development of the modern world. Of special interest to communicators, you'll see a demonstration of a working Linotype machine - the creation that revolutionized print communication! The museum houses vintage printing presses, and an exhibit about the legacy of the AFRO NEWS, the nation’s longest running Black-owned family newspaper, still in business today.

Your narrated tour of Baltimore continues past notable landmarks as you make your way toward Baltimore Harbor. Disembark and savor a plated meal at the famous Phillips Seafood Restaurant (included), where you’ll savor classicPhillips Seafood Restaurant in Baltimore Baltimore flavors in a relaxed, welcoming setting (including an authentic Maryland crab cake)! After 100 years, Phillips Seafod remains family-owned and operated. With their commitment to sustainability, they hope to serve the good folks of Baltimore for another 100 years. While Phillips is known for their seafood, they have options for "land lovers" as well.

Star-Spangled Banner Flag House

The star spangled banner houseStep into a defining moment of American history with admission to the Star-Spangled Banner House, the birthplace of the flag that inspired the national anthem. In 1813, Mary Pickersgill was commissioned to sew a garrison flag and a smaller storm flag for Fort McHenry. Mary’s mother, daughter, nieces, and indentured and enslaved African American servants helped complete the task in about seven weeks. The flag withstood a 25-hour British bombardment and made an indelible impression on a young Francis Scott Key

Freshen up, then meet your NFPW friends for Happy Hour at Alexandra's or the Fairway Lounge (on your own). Enjoy scenic views of the golf course while sipping a signature cocktail. Happy hour is from 5:00PM-7:00PM.
